The routine of starts and stops needs to end.

Like many of you out there, I have attempted to get back on track fitness wise several times, but usually have a hard time sticking to it. This month, I’ve started anew and have found that it helps to be a part of a community of like minded people. If you let them know what you are trying to do, they can be a great source of encouragement. I find that I’m less likely to quit when I hold myself responsible to others. It’s also nice to have people who are truly interested in your success. One place to find this encouragement is lifekraze. There, you can post what you’ve done for the day, reward others who have posted their accomplishments and they can reward you as well. You can also have your posts reposted to Twitter and Facebook so even those who are not on lifekraze can also see what you are doing. I don’t even spend much time on social sites, but it’s neat to run into someone who asks you about your progress because they’ve seen your post. It also makes you feel like you have to continue and not quit, because you have others keeping track of you. I’m working towards my goal of 50 lbs. lost by the end of the year, and keeping everyone informed.
